Hyperlipidemia study
If you have been told you have hyperlipidemia, that means that you have too many fats in your blood. Other terms used are 'high cholesterol' or 'high triglycerides'. Our body makes and uses cholesterol throughout the day. HDL or 'good' cholesterol coats our arteries like a protective oil to prevent blockages. If too much LDL or 'bad' cholesterol builds up in our bodies, it can cause blockages in our blood stream. This can lead to heart attack, strokes and other health problems.

Please answer the following questions:

Question Answer
Are you currently taking medication to lower your lipid (cholesterol) levels?
Are you over 18 years of age?
Has your cholesterol lowering medication dose remained the same for at least the past 6 weeks?
Do I pre-qualify?
